Instructions • With the members of your group, provide at least 2-3 different ways that the PLOT and the MEANING of the novel would change if your situation was true. • Find a piece of evidence (quotation, specific scene, action, etc.) to support your reasoning for each of the 2-3 different ways.

How would the plot and meaning of the novel change if Dorian Gray had a different name (either more ordinary ie. “John Smith” or more unique)? C. How would the plot and meaning of the novel be altered if DG’s parents had not died during his childhood?
