  3. Equivalent Fractions • What are equivalent fractions? • How do we convert a fraction to an equivalent fraction with a larger denominator? • How do we convert a fraction to an equivalent fraction with a smaller denominator?

  4. Equivalent Fractions Equivalent fractions are fractions that show different numbers with the same value. and are equivalent fractions

  5. Equivalent Fractions To convert a fraction to an equivalent fraction we multiply the numerator and the denominator by a fraction with a value of 1.
