  1. EMAS Spectral Measurements Made October 25, 2011 Roy W. Esplin

  2. Measurement Conditions • All measurements were taken October 25, 2011 • Measurements made after clamping scan mirror in position and clamping MAS scanhead to its laboratory mount. • 60Hz and harmonics considerably less than in preliminary measurements • Only pinned interface was cold bench to vacuum enclosure • Preliminary electronic gain values were used • All LWIR channel measurements in this report were taken with a 0.2 inch diameter source, which overfilled the optical throughput • MWIR measurements were made with 0.025in diameter source to prevent saturation • The unfilled field stop makes the MWIR measurements more sensitive to vibration • The MWIR electronic offset was so large it significantly restricted the dynamic range • MWIR offset is being adjusted for next test

  3. Interferometer Relative Spectral Output (RSO)(RSO of same interferometer used to measured EMAS. RSO measurement was made September 2008 through MIC2, which has 4 gold coated mirror surfaces. RSO does not include KRS5 focusing lens, but KRS5 is very flat across EMAS bands.)

  4. Wavelength Calibration Check Against Modtran Lines(Measured data is from preliminary spectral measurement set Oct 18 and 19, 2011)

  5. Equivalent Wavenumbers and Wavelengths of 60 Hz and Harmonics
