  2. For each door: • Renewable: draw a tree • Nonrenewable: draw a mining cart • Inexhaustible: draw a sun

  3. Renewable Resources: Can be replaced at the same rate that it is consumed. Examples: • Trees • Oxygen • Animals • Water CONSERVE: Don’t waste it! Use with purpose!

  4. Nonrenewable Resources: A resource that forms at a much slower rate than can be replaced. Examples: • Coal • Petroleum (crude oil) • Natural gas • Gemstones CONSERVE: Don’t waste it! Use with purpose!

  5. Inexhaustible Resource Never runs out. Examples: • Sun • Water • Wind We need to find inexpensive ways to use these resources in the future.
