Governor’s Service Agreement that you should be helping to make happen with your newly elected successors.  Specifically the first two items on the service agreement: • Attend all Divisional Council Meetings from the date of your election until District Convention in 2011. • Assist the present Lt. Governor in all duties up to and including those assigned during the 2011 District Convention. • Note that number two says “all” duties.  It is part of the new LTG’s training to assist you from this point forward with all that you do.  You should involve them in the planning of your remaining DCM’s, in writing your newsletters, completing your monthly report forms, etc.  I would even copy them on your emails.  This will give them a huge advantage when it comes time for their own training as they would have had some experience to relate to as they are trained. • So, LTG’s and AA’s, let’s get these new LTG’s working with you for the rest of the year.  Thanks much. • David • David McCampbellDistrict AdministratorFlorida District of Key Club International431 NW 197 Ave., Pembroke Pines, FL 33029T 954.436.3830 | F 954.436.3830 | C 954.562.0014AdminDavid@FloridaKeyClub.com • www.FloridaKeyClub.org

Merry Christmas! Can't believe it's already Christmas time again! But, that doesn't been when Christmas break comes about we all take a break from Key Club. Don't forget, we are a year-round thing, so keep up the good work! Christmas time is a great time of the year for service! But before I get to that, I sure hope everyone got their dues in. If not, please get them in as soon as possible! If anyone is having any trouble, please let me know and I will do everything I can to help. Now to the fun part... With this time of the year comes many opportunities for service! Some ideas include: caroling at a hospital, nursing home, etc; having a clothes or food drive, bringing in presents, and many many more. If anyone has any ideas they would like to share, then please email me with them and I will spread the word.  As far as the governor's project goes, does anyone have any ideas for our divisional project? I know we had wanted to do something with sports, but we can do more. We could do a "kid's fest" style event to benefit the special needs children. Also, I spoke earlier today with a gentleman from Frank Brown Park about the Miracle League field, and he said that we would have to get an "ok" with the lady in charge of Frank Brown to do a park day style thing, but if we wanted to be "buddies," which basically help on a game-by-game basis. I was told the lady in charge will be available tomorrow, so I will call again about setting up an event. If anyone has any other ideas, please let me know!  Thanks guys for everything! -Richard -- Richard YoudLieutenant Governor Division 2B850-527-5200division2b@floridakeyclub.comBay High SchoolKey Club International

I need your help. I sent out the email about officer elections to all of you and the officers, but as I know, as a teenager myself, it is very hard to remember to get things done without an adult helping. If you guys could MAKE SURE that officer elections are done by February, I really would appreciate it. I need your help enforcing this. OIS also have to be in by March 15th. When your elections are over, please email me and tell me. That is another thing some officers lack, the ability to tell me what is going on lol. I appreciate your guy's help. With you and i working together, I believe everything this year will be done efficently and quickly, so the next Lieutenant Governor will have an easier time. I am very excited to be working with you this year, and I hope that we can get together sometime soon to discuss Palmetto Key Club! I would like to let you know about the "Key Club Kick-Off Conference" coming up on September 12. This is where all the Key Clubs and their Advisors from Manatee, Sarasota, and Charlotte County get together for a day's festivities and learning. It is extremely important that you attend! The cost will be $20, and will include a t-shirt, lunch, rock climbing, ropes course, snacks, water, and more! Here, you will be able to meet the other Faculty Advisors, as well as other Key Clubs, and be able to be an effective Faculty Advisor for your club. Please let me know if you will be able to attend, it is going to be fun, exciting, and extremely beneficial for you and your Key Club. Nice to meet you, and hope to talk to you soon! Please give me a call at 941-725-0092 with any questions/concerns you may have, and I also hope to arrange a meeting between us and possibly Palmetto High School's Key Club Officers in the near future, so we can make sure we know what we're doing or what help you may need. Sincerely, Matthew Davis-- Yours in Service,Matthew DavisFlorida District of Key Club InternationalLieutenant Governor, Division 17, Zone IX(941) 725-0092
