  1. WALK BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT… Christians are to walk by faith and not by sight! 2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) (KJV) Our life here on earth is a journey and “For we walk by faith” means to live or act in a way that will please God through faith. We cannot please God without faith as it is in... Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to Him must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him. (NIV)

  2. Our God is spirit and with our naked eye we can’t see Him no matter how big He is. This verse clearly explained that when we come to our God we must believe that He exists & for us believing something that we could not see is so impossible because we grew in the world of “believing only by seeing”… the reason why our God gave FAITH to us as a gift… 1 Corinthians 12:9(a) The same Spirit gives great faith to another, and to someone else the one Spirit gives the gift of healing. (NLT) So, faith is a gift from God. It isn’t earned or not even accumulated by overcoming trials and problems. FAITH is defined in the Holy Bible written in…

  3. Hebrews 11:1 What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. It is the evidence of things we cannot yet see. (NLT-LASB) Basing on what we read in this verse, really it is hard to understand what faith is. In our mind, queries will arise and one of them is.. “How come faith is the evidence of things we cannot see… yet faith is the confident assurance of what we hope for that is going to happen”…??? It is so hard to understand this definition of faith that’s why many of us are ignoring it & live by sight. To live by sight means ignoring God’s commands. We need the presence of the Holy Spirit, His guidance & revelation to fully understand the meaning of faith & then we could easily live on it.

  4. . One example is the flow of the electric current, we easily believe that there’ll be light in the bulb when we touch the switch to “On”, because we can see it & it happens soon, but we didn’t see the flow of electric current in wires even not covered by its protector. Electric current is invisible yet we are confident and assured (means we have faith) that it will flow and the bulb will be lighted which is the evidence of the things happen that we cannot see and yet believe. This is faith! Now, Hebrews 11:6 emphasized that anyone who comes to Him must believe (have faith) that He exists and that He rewards those who earnestly seek Him (when He is pleased). Yes, we have faith but what kind of faith we must have in order to please our God that will give us His rewards?

  5. James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? What kind of works? Ephesians 2:8-9 said… V8-For by grace are ye saved through faith; & that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: V9-Not of works, lest any man should boast. (KJV) The works here that we need to do is to seek and know “Who is God, our Lord Jesus Christ & the Holy Spirit.” It is being commanded by God Himself to ALL.

  6. But only those whom He has called heard His voice & if we are one of them we will seek Him diligently & earnestly through Holy Bible by reading, studying, meditating and applying the Word of God in our daily lives and by attending.. Bible study, witnessing, prayer meeting, and Sunday services consistently and always; these will develop & increase our faith in God that will please Him. Amen! To GOD be the glory!
