  1. Pre-Registration Workshop Spring 2009 Thursday, October 30th

Check Your Registration Status • Log onto ALBERT (via NYUHome) • Select the Registration Status tab under the Registration menu • Registration Times are assigned based on the number of credits completed (which do not include the credits in which you are currently enrolled) • You must clear up registration stops prior to your registration date

  3. Spring 2009 This simply means your registration time has not come up yet You can begin registering at this time

  4. Verify Your Transfer Credits (External Transfers) • In Albert, check your “Unofficial Transcript” to verify that courses from your previous institution have been coded to match your Curriculum Worksheet/credit evaluations. • For example, if your previous school’s financial accounting course was deemed equivalent to our C10.0001 Principles of Financial Accounting, verify that C10.0001 is listed on the “Unofficial Transcript.” • Course equivalencies that may not show up on the “Unofficial Transcript” include Natural Science equivalencies. This particular equivalency should show up on the “Degree Progress” screen in Albert, though.

Spring Course Notes • For Juniors: • ISP – C50.0011 (Management Dept – C50) • Not recommended to take Law, Business & Society and Competitive Advantage from Operations in the same semester • For Sophomores: • Organizational Communication (C40.0065 – Social Impact Core) and MOA (C50.0001) not recommended together • Do not plan to take sections marked “Other NYU Divisions Only”

Winter Session • Winter session courses will be offered January 5th – January 16th, 2009 • Registration for these courses is November 3rd – December 7th on Albert • Stern courses being offered include: • Negotiation and Consensus Building • Law, Business & Society • For more information visit: http://www.nyu.edu/winter/

  9. Registration Quick Visit Advising • Quick visits are 15 minute appointments to address questions about registration • Sign-up via https://ais.stern.nyu.edu • Online sign-up for next day appointments will be available at 5pm the day prior
