  1. WARM-UP: Materials Manager should retrieve supplies from yesterday. Using the hot and cold cubes model, please tell the chefs what actions they are to perform using symbolic notation. State the overall temperature change. 1. Four cold cubes were added, and then 8 hot cubes were added. 2. Two hot cubes were added, and then 3 cold cubes were removed. 3. Six cold cubes were added, and then three cold cubes were removed.

Do It the Chef’s Way: P. 24: 1 – 9; omit 3, 6, 71st – take 5 minutes in your group2nd – take 10 minutes in your group to complete the activity and prepare for presentation.Make sure to follow directions. You should have an explanation using the model and state the overall temperature change. Discuss in your group and SPEAKER should be prepared to share if your group is called on.
