  3. FACE IT • It is important to face the fact that tests are apart of being in school. • When you face a test with your full attention and a positive attitude you are more likely to do your best work  RES Guidance

  4. ORGANIZE IT • Organize your body in a testing position. • Organize your pace so you are not going too quickly or too slowly. • Organize your answers. RES Guidance

  5. CONQUER IT • Conquer nervous and negative thoughts. • Study, be aware of good test taking tips, and DON’T let the test conquer you! RES Guidance

  6. UNDERSTAND IT • Understand as you read; hear every word in your mind. • Underline key words. • Think through each question and eliminate wrong answers. RES Guidance

  7. SCAN IT • Scan each question carefully. • When you are finished, go back and carefully check your work. RES Guidance

  10. Stressing about the Test • Some stress is good, but too much stress may cause you to be upset and not be able to concentrate.
