  1. Anne Brit Lystrup, member of our “Moldova Committee” in SI Tønsberg, Union of Norway, has created the attached PowerPoint. It is meant to make visible and highlight the different aspects of the project “Joyful and active aging” for our club members, as well as for our friendship club SI Chisinau, Union of Moldova. The pictures Anne Brit has used, are taken from internet, as she found them to be as “close to relevant” as possible. Members of Chisinau have the chance to add pictures to the slide series, as the project develops.  will support us with their own pictures

Joyful and active aging Project goal: To support retired women overcome the loneliness and the feeling of uselessness caused by ageing. 13 direct beneficiaries estimated over 100 indirect beneficiaries. Period: September 2018 to May 2019. 13 activities will be carried out in the framework of the project.

  4. Activity 1 Meeting with the Chairman of the socio-economic department of the Trade Union of Moldova, Ana Moldovanu, questions and answers session on active aging opportunities in Moldova.

  5. Activity 2 Joint going to the theatre, viewing the performances: ”Cradle for grandparents” ”The birds of our young times”

  6. Activity 3 Seminar/discussion: „Family violence, rights, assistance, protection”. Invitees: La Strada, NGO and representatives from the Ministry of Social Protection, Family and Health.

  7. Activity 4 Moldovan Diaspora, the life of Moldovan citizens abroad, information, experience, opportunities of elderly women. Special guest Alexandra Pitlik Zacon, poet, singer, grandmother, living in Austria. Prezentation of the book ”Fire of the people”, disk ”Porumbarul”.

  8. Activity 5 Participation in the festivals: Martisor Ia mania Bread baking Bostaniada etc. as well as in the winter fests and other events, that promote Moldovan traditions and culture.

  9. Activity 6 Participation in various cultural events, aimed at unlocking the potential of elderly people. Exhibitions of old artists etc.

  10. Activity 7 Information campaign and community lessons on active, women-friendly aging, organisation of excursions, including open air excursions.

  11. Activity 8 Measures aimed at enhancing the participation of elderly people in the social life. Voluntary programmes.

  12. Activity 9 Subscription of elderly women to the newspaper ”Ziarul de Gardă” for the year 2019.

  13. Activity 10 Celebration of the ”International day of elderly people”. This year the campaign will encourage every elderly person in Moldova to join the fight against age discrimination, having the slogan ”Age doesn’t change people, doesn’t change the attitude”. That event is part of a series of events organised in the framework of the campaign ”The age requires action”, organized by the Help Age Internațional in many countries in the world since 2007.

  14. Activity 11 Identification of similar activities organised in Romania, Ukraina, Rusia, etc., exchange of experience and good practices. Activity 12 Seminar on the opportunities for elderly people, special guest: the chairwoman of the National Organisation of elderly people ”The Treasury of the Nation” .

  15. Activity 13 Mediatization of the project activities, TV, social media, radio, etc. Conduct short interviews with each beneficiary.

  16. The estimative budget of the project is of EUR 3000. This amount doesn’t include the project coordination activity, which will be carried out by the members of the SI Club of Chisinau. Responsible for the project - Tamara Niculiță, SI Club Chisinau President 2018-2020.
