  3. Using I.C.T to develop typography in MICROSOFT WORD Look for the Word Art button (on the “Draw” menu at the bottom). Can’t see the “Draw” menu?Go to View > Toolbars > Drawing.

Font Design Activity • 1) Open a new Microsoft Word Document. • 2) Add the title “Movie Marketing Font Designs”and YOUR NAME. • Add a Word Art Template using the title of your movie. • Copy and paste the item so you have lots of them. • Experiment with Word Art – have fun with your letters and try as many effects as you can. • If the effect is not appropriate for your movie, add a comment next to it to say why not and move on to another piece of Word Art.

Success Criteria Must: Have added at least ten different pieces of Word Art to your Font Design sheet in Microsoft Word. Should: Have experimented with a wide variety of effects to enhance the text. Could: Have added comments to each piece of Word Art to explain why they are or are not appropriate for your movie.
