  7. Italics, Underlining, etc. • In law review text and text sentences, italicizecase names, but in footnotes don’t. • In briefs and memos, always italicize or underline(your choice, just be consistent!). • For Washington courts, always italicize or underlinecase names. • Examples below italicize.
