  2. Where do they live? Blackfoot Indians are living on reservations in Montana and Alberta. But long a go, they lived in Upper Missouri, above the Yellowstone river, and the North Saskatchewan rivers.

  4. What Clothes do they wear? The Blackfoot Indians wear clothes made out of animal skins.

  5. Marriage The men are responsible for choosing their wives. In order to receive permission to marry, the an who wants to marry has to show the woman’s father his skills as a hunter or a warrior. Once the father of the bride has agreed, the couple would exchange gifts of horses and clothing. After they are married they would get their own tipi. The man is allowed to marry more than once.

  6. My Venn Diagram They live in tipi’s. Both girls and boys get to choose who they marry. They have a limited range of food. Live in different parts of the country. We have a wider range of foods. The male has to choose who they marry. Have different duties. We have different clothes to them. They have clothes made from animal skins. We live in houses.

These days, it’s hard to find work for the Blackfoot people The different kind of Indians are the Peigan, the Siksika , and the Kainai. Their enemies were the crow and the Sioux of the Great Plains In a typical Blackfoot family, the Father goes and hunts while the Mother stayed at home When travelling, they split into bands of 20-30 people.

  8. Flow Diagram In winter, they travel with the buffalo to the woodlands where they set up their camp. In the spring, the buffalo travel back to the grasslands, but the Blackfoot's stay in the woods and survive on other animals. In autumn they stay in the grasslands hunting the buffaloes. In summer the Blackfoot Indians travel back to the grasslands and hunt the buffaloes again.
