  3. Preparation Schedule • Work remotely with your team (April 28- May 17) • Work with your team by any means • Develop your team’s business idea • Build the draft the business plan • Create your final presentation • In Illinois, each team will meet Dr. John Clarke and Dr. Sunny Jeong (April 29- May 8) • In HKUST, each team will meet with Professor Shum (April 29-May 8)

Competition and Trip Objectives • Engage students intellectually in a societal issue • Understand the interactions between business, government, and universities • Gain an international business experience and build awareness of the global nature of business • Learn to work effectively in cross cultural, cross functional teams • Provide a differentiated professional experience to support students early in their careers

  5. Expectations of Participants • This is a business trip not a vacation, we will work long hours • We will be good ambassadors of our programs, colleges, campus, and country • At all times we will be culturally sensitive, act as gracious guests and as exemplary hosts • We will we will experience new things, learn a great deal, and have a lot of fun in the process!
