Climate • Due to its high elevation (920m), Bangalore enjoys moderate climate. • Warmest months (February to May) • During July small possibility of wind and heavy rain because of south-west monsoons. • Lowest temperature ever recorded (7.8 °C) • Highest temperature ever recorded (38.9 °C) • SO THAT’S GR8!

Must See – Bangalore Palace • Constructed by the Maharajahs of Mysore • Price (ridiculous rates for India): • 200 rs to get inside • 500 rs to take photos even outside • 1000 rs for video • 10am to 5:30pm. Open all days, except Sundays. • Contains: • Elephant Head • Antique furniture • Paintings • Nude Paintings that spice things up! (Hurray!!!)

  7. Must see - Omthara Kala Kuteera(Soothe your soul – Energize your Mind) • 40km from Bangalore (1h) • Oasis of peace & tranquility • Is described as “Heaven on Earth”

  8. Must See – The Bull Temple • Legend has it that the temple was built to appease a marauding bull that stole local crops, and that the offering was effective with the bull subsequently leaving the area.

  9. MUST SEE!!! – Shiva Temple • Free Entrance • Camera: 25 Rs

  10. Must See – LalBagh Glass House • Romantic!!! Walk among lotus ponds, fountains, glass houses and stone formations

  11. Must See – Bagmane Tech Park • The park is home to some of the most prominent companies in world like Yahoo!, Oracle Corporation, HP, Lenovo, Motorola, Novell, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Volvo, Dell.

  12. Shopping & Fun • unique shopping experience on Sampige Road at Malleswaram in the traditional south Indian styled shops. • Experience the Bangalore pub scene, mostly around MG Road, Brigade Road, and Church Street.

Suggestions • We will have almost a full weekend and 2 weekday-afternoons for leisure. • Weekend (sightseeing: VidhanaSoudha, Bangalore Palace, Shiva Temple, Bull Temple) • Afternoons (Shopping, walks, relaxation, pubs, LalBagh Glass House) • Maybe: Full day tour with air-conditioned bus to the most important attractions of the city.
