  1. A Banner Year For “Dry Bones” Ezekiel 37:1-14 “…bones that were very dry…”

  2. Psalm 34:18 (NIV) “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed” Proverbs 17:22 (NIV) “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” The Bible is very clear about when hope slips away, bones dry up. It also tells us that when our spirits get crushed, again our bones tend to try up. Yet the Lord clearly tells us that He is CLOSE to the brokenhearted and those whose hope is fleeting. Psalm 32:1-11 (NIV) Turn in Your Bible “When I kept silent, my bones wasted away…”

  3. Crushed spirits, loss of hope and dry bones are not good things, but in life they are often inevitable. Dry Bones or Brittle Bones is actually a disease called Osteogenesis Imperfecta caused by lack of collagen production in the connective tissues of bones. But there is another condition called Dry Bones, that has nothing to do with a medical condition or disease, but has everything to do with the spirit man. Difficult circumstances and unmet expectation tend to crush our spirits and when our spirits are crushed, our spiritual bone structure tends to dry up and become fragile. We then become very vulnerable. Our entire spiritual skeletal structure is in jeopardy. And when the duration of a challenge becomes more than we can handle and hope leaks out, our internal structure dries up!

  4. Although there is no known cure for the medical condition of dry bones, there are DIVINE CURES for spiritually dry bones. If for instance just a little moisture has been lost due to daily life: 1. PASSIONATE WORSHIP will bring about Spirit Rain to refresh Super dry and brittle bones, due to excessive pain, problems and practically no truth in ones life (and a bit of sinful disobedience thrown in) the treatment would be as follows: 2. SOAKING AT THE ALTAR of GRACE and THE WORD (this may take a little time, but stick with it) Dead dismembered, bleached out white and dry as dust bones, due to a total deception and embrace of the enemies LIES, resulting in a blatant and rebellious turning away from God’s written Word and His spoken Word to ones spirit; will REQUIRE SOMETHING VERY POWERFUL!

  5. That something is: 3. A prophetic POWER ENCOUNTER with the VOICE of God! Although this level of treatment may often be painful, it is without exception THE MOST POWERFUL and EFFECTIVE treatment ever known to humanity for the restoration of our dead and dried out bones and spirits. BUT here is the key: One must HEAR or take an active part in the treatment process. This REQUIRES a QUIET MIND and a WILLING heart that will PAY ATTENTION and come into agreement with the Doctor’s VOICE. When Doctor God speaks a diagnosis, we must HEAR it, ACCEPT it, and AGREE with it AND SPEAK IT back to Him aloud. Some folks call this repentance; or changing ones mind to agree with God – RESTORATION is a fuller description of what is really occurring.

  6. PART 2 – “A Banner Year for Dry Bones” Ezekiel 36:37-37:14 The 4 STEPS in the PROCESS of restoration: 1. INQUIRE of God – cry out, plead, talk to, communicate verbally Ezekiel 36:37 “I will yield to the plea…” Jeremiah 33:3a “Call unto Me…” 2. ADMIT that God alone has the answer – Hebrews 11:6 Ezekiel 37:3b “…Sovereign Lord, you alone know.” Jeremiah 33:3b “…I will answer thee, and show thee…” 3. PERMIT God’s voice – don’t close your spirit ear, hear and listen Ezekiel 37:4 “…say to them… hear the word of the Lord!” Jeremiah 33:3c “…unsearchable things you do not know.” Romans 10:17 “…hearing by the word of God.” Hebrews 4:4-16 “…if you hear His voice… hold firmly to the faith we profess…” 4. REMIT God’s revelation – speak it back to Him, send it back by voice Isaiah 54:16-55:13 “…so my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.”

  7. So How Are Your Bones?
