Anal Fistula treatment in hyderabad

The anal fistula is a narrow tunnel with its internal opening in the anal canal and its external opening in the skin near the anus.<br>The anus is the external opening through which feces are expelled from the body. Just inside the anus are a number of small glands that make mucus. These glands get clogged and can become infected, leading to an abscess. About half of these abscesses may develop into a fistula.

  2. Anal Fistula • Anal Fistula is a small tunnel that occurs between the bowel and at the opening skin near the anus. There are number of glands inside the anus that makes mucus, the glands get clogged and this can lead to causing an infection or abscess. http://www.healinghandsclinic.co.in/

  4. Causes of Anal fistula Causes of an anal fistula are anal sphincter and anal abscesses. A bacteria accretion forms a swallow hole of infected tissue and fluid which is known as anabscess. If the treatment is not taken the eventually it’ll grow, comes outside and punch a hole in skin around the anus.   5. Diagnosis • Usually, the diagnosis is done by examination the area around anus. A small review of rectum is done through the scope which is the used as instrument to check the condition of rectum. • MRI or Ultrasound is done for viewing the better result of fistula. • Further test are done like X-Ray, blood test and colonoscopy, if the fistula is found.   6. Fistula Treatment • Conventional • FISTULECTOMY: This is done through anaesthesia, where the fistula tract is removed through surgery. After few weeks a surgery is performed by doctor to remove the infected tissues and to close opening of fistula. • FISTULA PLUG: A fistula plug is used to tract fistula i.e. synthetic bio-absorbable scaffold. With time the cells move into scaffold and tissues which are newly generated absorb the plug material. • FiLaC ( Fistula-tract Laser Closure ): This procedure is done using Leonardo laser, which requires about 30-40 min.
