Hi-Bird Cycles, a company of renowned Safari Group launched largest range of models in one go. In addition, out of 150 existing models, more than 90 have been given a fresh look. Company, known for pioneering in to the fashion bicycles has become the only bicycle brand to launch such a vast range altogether. With the new colors, latest decals and unique designs, the new launched bicycles are targeting the young peddling enthusiasts. These models cover all bicycle segments for boys, girls, kids and classic Indian Bicycles. Since the inception of Hi-bird, almost two decades back, the brand has a tradition of introducing Gen-next style statement bicycles almost every 3rd month. Where, the brand has been known to introduce premium models, this time the launch includes bicycle for all range and choices. The new range varies between Rs.3000 to Rs.50,000. In the existing range, Hi-Bird has bicycles upto Rs.2 lacs.

  1. About US Hi-Bird, Safari Group of Industries is known all over the world as a Quality Manufacturer engaged in manufacturing of all types of Bicycles, Bicycle Parts, Bicycle Rickshaws, E-Bikes and E-Scooters. Group has also ventured into automotive components manufacturing and Food Processing.

While other group companies are engaged in the manufacturing, exporting, marketing and sales of various components and items, Safari Bikes Ltd (SBL). is mainly manufacturing Bicycles, Bicycle Parts and Bicycle Rickshaws. SBL is manufacturing more than 2000 varied designs and models of Bicycles suiting the needs of all markets, segments and people of all age groups.

Having ISO 9001 certification continuously for more than Two decades, SBL has had the privilege of winning a number of awards for its performance and maintaining constant Quality at National as well as International level. SBL is the First and Only bicycle manufacturer from India to get awards like “International Europe Award for Quality, Paris (France) in the year 2000” and “Platinum Star Award for Quality from Geneva (Switzerland) in the year 2001”. In the year 2006 company was awarded “NATIONAL AWARD for Quality” by the Govt. of India.

The major components of the Bicycles i.e. Frame, Fork and Mudguards are marked (certified by Bureau of Indian Standards) and SBL is India’s First Bicycle manufacturer qualifying for marking on all major and important components of Bicycles. All products of the company being exported to Europe are CE marked.

  6. SBL has a well established dealer network all over India having more than 2000 dealers and has presence in nearly 75 overseas markets covering six continents. SBL has installed manufacturing capacity of 1,50,000 bicycles per month, which is stretchable up to Two million bicycles per annum and have fully equipped in-house R & D facilities and State-of-The-Art manufacturing plants.

  7. SBL is known for innovative ideas and adventurous designs. SBL launched a Bicycle with 25 years Full Replacement Guarantee on major parts of bicycle Frame and Fork, which was a Super Hit Product in Indian Bicycle Trade. SBL also launched Bicycle Rickshaw with Special features named “HI-BIRD Eco Cab” which is being used in many cities under dial a Cab scheme.
