  1. Inventory Program Allows consultant to order books and postpone payment until books are sold and to return unsold books. Full details and guidelines are available from Debbie Santmyer at the home office.

  2. BRIEF Overview • Ordering: Write up as direct order on OPOL, print it out and FAX to Debbie. Do Not Transmit. • Order $2000 max or get home office OK • Allow 2-3 weeks to receive • Track order with consultant id#B0999 • Returning Inventory – Don’t Do It!!! • You must pay shipping • You must pay 5% ($10 min) restocking fee • If you return more than 25% you are banned • Closing out inventory

  6. So lets say you have a $1500 inventory and • At your bookfair you sold $1000 -- • So you write up your bookfair on OPOL and you put the $1000 worth of (inventory) books you sold as retail. When you print this out you write books sold from inventory ref #456712 – do not ship. On the free books you put the books the organization is selecting. When you print it out – write ship. (you must fax in orders closing out inventory). • Now you have $1000 more of inventory to account for. You can’t return it—that’s way too much…so you need another event. You got to sell these books as another bookfair or as a homeshow. You cannot use inventory for a school and library sale.

  10. You’ve got $200 in inventory left that you are going to buy as a home show • $115 selected at retail • $ 15 free • $ 25 hostess books • $ 20 booking special • $ 25 half price • ---------------- • $200 total --- you pay $130 + tax
