  1. Famous Tourist Places in Himachal pradesh About Himachal Pradesh- Himachal Pradesh is a part of the Indian Himalayas. It has wide valleys imposing snow mountains, limpid lakes, rivers, and gushing streams. After India became free in 1947, a number of princely hilly states were integrated into a single unit to be administered by the Government of India. Himachal Pradesh came into being as a state of the India Union on April 15, 1948, by integrating 31 big and small hill states of the region. In 1956, it was converted into a Union Territory. K i n n a u r : Kinnaur is one of twelve administrative districts in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, India. The district is divided into three administrative areas – Pooh, Kalpa, and Nichar(Bhabanagar)– and has six tehsils (counties). The administrative headquarters of Kinnaur district is at Reckong Peo. From here Kinnaur Kailash, considered to be the abode of Lord Shiva, can be seen. As of 2011, it is the second least populous district of Himachal Pradesh (out of 12 districts), after Lahaul and Spiti, in spite of that nine vital languages are spoken in the district. To one’s feeling, there’s just one road that connects Kinnaur with the remainder of Asian nation, though the road remains closed for 1/2 the year. This route on the bank of watercourse Satluj offers beautiful views and looking at choices to stay tourists engaged and enthralled throughout the journey, Kinnaur Himachal Pradesh.
