  2. • Homework, or homework assignment, refers to tasks assigned to students by their teachers to be completed outside the class.

  3. Should make use of new materials and new experiences in their homework.

  4. • Also, through the homework, parents can deal with their child’s school life.

  5. Students who did not develop the idea, creativity, learning support, direct their homework , there is no sense in terms of education.

  6. Teachers What to do? • In line with students interests and abilities, teachers should be careful not to give homework.

  7. Appropriate assigments to students interests and abilities, prevent boredom and forced work enabling the students to nurture positive feelings.

  8. Assigments should be carried out rapidly.

  9. Teachers should create more opportunities for brainstorming by means of referring to creativity and research in homework.

  10. Homework should not be given in a manner that forces students to transfer information from the book. • Hence it should not be construed.

  11. It should nurture research, conducting experiments and it should provide learning by doing.

  12. What Should Parents Do? • The parents should provide a child-friendly working environment (light,quietetc) and tools.

  13. In order not to distract the child and to let them work comfortably, an absence of stimuli in the room where the work is done should be provided. • The room must have sufficient heat and light.

  14. The parents should help children with their homework when help needed.

  15. When the conditions listed are supported, they help the child to do homework, Parents, should check their children's homework.

  16. The Benefits of Homework • Teachers develop new knowledge, skills and helps students in useful ways; hence, the students will develop a sense of self-control.

  17. • Classroom lessons are reinforced with homework.

  18. Inappropriate Aspects of Homework • Time-consuming homework creates unnecessary work-load for students

  19. • They want to copy from friends,when students do not do their homework.
