  1. PAL WIRE-TO-WIRE CONNECTOR SERIES Purpose: To introduce the PAL wire-to-wire connector series.

  2. PAL Connectors Problem: Many applications require a wire-to-wire connector that is a sub-miniature in size and that offers engineers design flexibility. Script: The PAL series wire-to-wire connectors are the industry’s first wire-to-wire 2.0mm (.079”) pitch connector. The PAL series wire-to-wire connectors are molded in Nylon 6, UL94V-0 material. The PAL series is available either with or without panel lock and can accommodate a panel thickness of 0.5 to 2.0mm(.020”) to .079”), according to application. Housings are available in various colors as well.

  3. PAL WIRE-TO-WIRE CONNECTOR SERIES Script: The PAL wire-to-wire connector series is available from 2 to 8 circuits without panel locks and 2 to 4, and 6 to 8 circuits with panel locks. Optional secondary retainers are available to further ensure that the contacts are completely inserted (seated) in the housing to prevent accidental release (back out) of the contacts.

  4. PAL WIRE-TO-WIRE CONNECTOR SERIES Script: The PAL Wire-to-wire connector offers design flexibility. Both the crimp style PA plug and the IDC PAF plugs can be used as the mating options. With an added secure feature the housing has a positive locking device to prevent accidental disconnection because of wire routing and/or vibration.

  5. PAL WIRE-TO-WIRE CONNECTOR SERIES SCRIPT: The PAL series contacts are phosphor bronze, tin plated and will accept a wire range of 22 to 28 AWG, have a rating of 100 V AC/DC and operate in a temperature range of -25º C to +85º C. Current rating 3A AC/DC (with 22 AWG).

  6. The PAL SERIES IS ENGINEERING & MANUFACTURING FRIENDLY SCRIPT: Applicators are available for a semi-automatic and fully automatic equipment normally found in the manufacturing environment as well as standard hand tools and extraction and insertion tools.

  7. THE PAL SERIES SUMMARY SCRIPT: • Connector is sub-miniature in size • Available with or without panel locks • Optional secondary retainer to ensure contact seating and prevent contact back out available • Secure positive locking device to prevent accidental disconnection because of routing of wires and/or vibration. Available from 2-8 circuits in free-hanging, 6-8 with panel locks • Supported with termination tooling for all levels of prototype and full manufacturing requirements. • RoHS compliant.
