  2. 1. Cut out the words • 2. Work as a team, use as many of the words as possible to write an informational paragraph that predicts what the reading could be about. Glue the cutout words in your sentences; Glue the absolutely unknown words at the bottom of your paper; 20 minutes

  3. 3. Share out your paragraph; One member of your group stays and reads aloud while other groups rotate the room to listen; 10 min • 4. As a whole class, create a list of unknown words; Post these words so that we can revisit them as they are discussed in class; 10 min • 5. Reading textbook p193—supplementary practice; 10 min • 6. Look back on your paragraph and the list of words; Rewrite your paragraph so that it accurately portraits the reading. (summary of the reading) 20 min
