OS reprocessing analysis plan • Reprocessed L2OS will be analysed following (or adapting) the SMOS L2 OS Product Performance Evaluation Plan (SO-PL-ARG-GS-0055 L2OS-PPEP_v4.1_110907): • Priority 1 • Range of retrieved SSS and deviation from climatology data • Regional variations • Land contamination • RFI detection & mitigation • Absolute accuracy of retrieved results; comparison with external sources • Quality fields and flags • Time stability of the results • Sun/moon glint and Galactic Noise • Tuning roughness models 1/2/3 • Issue new Product Performance Status Report
