  3. Myriad – an extremely large number • Many mirrors give a myriad of reflections.

  4. Caucus – meeting of members to make a decision • A cactus caucus!

  5. Grandiloquent – to try to impress with big words or gestures • The grand elephant made a grandiloquent speech.

  6. Demonic – one who is linked to evil, to work as hard as a devil • He was a demonic demon for extra work.

  7. Noxious – harmful to human beings • Cheap perfume is so noxious that it knocks us out!

  8. Atrophy – to wither away • Trophy champions can atrophy without continual workouts.

  9. Harangue – to lecture with a long speech, to berate • His harangue ended with a meringue pie in the face.

  10. Dromedary – a one-humped camel • A dromedary could be considered a roaming dairy.

  11. Proficient – skillful, to be very good at something • The pro fisherman was certainly proficient.
