ENERGY EFFICIENCY -Solar panels: Taking advantage of living in a sunny climate, our school should be provided with a BP Solar Power Generation System that converts the sunshine into usable energy -Dual Pane, Low-emittance Windows: our school should have them to provide optimal insulation for greater efficiency of heating and cooling systems while also blocking UV rays which can create damage to belongings -Energy Efficient Lighting: In addition to the savings of Compact Fluorescent Lights in light fixtures, modern dimmer switches are 10% more efficient, and occupancy sensor light switches can be set to automatically turn off lights in an empty classroom. -Blown-in Cellulose Wall insulation: most buildings use sheets of insulation, but using blown-in insulation more efficiently packs in every gap. SUSTAINABLE MOBILITY LESS CONGESTION AND LESS CO2 EMISSIONS OUT OF THE SCHOOL HOW? -Public transports such as bus and trains must be developed and increased -Students living near school must walk or go by bike -For the students and the school workers living far from the school a scheme of car sharing (eg.
