  2. On average there are about 8 or 9 basic cuts of meat that come form the beef, with many variations leading off of the basic cuts. Here’s a few cuts and variations, - Round steak - Boneless Rump Roast - Bottom Round Roast - Tip Roast - Tip Steak THE MEAT

  3. - Sirloin Steak • - Brisket • - Ribs • Other Cuts • - Ground Beef • - Cubed Steak • - Beef for Stew Continued…

  4. And if you get really in to it, you could have: • - Brains • - Hearts • - Kidneys • - Liver • - Tails • And Tongues, the other non desirable meat. Continuation of the continued…

  5. The basic cuts of beef Diagram of the cut’s Fun fact; With an average market (live or on hoof) weight of 1,150 lbs. The typical steer will produce a 715 lb. (dressed weight) carcass. So right at around ½ of the animal can be used for meat, and the rest can be used as By Products.

  10. As you can tell there are By Products that come from basically the entire animal, as well as the meat, thus making the beef cow a very useful and desirable animal. All together
