Cooperative Management Agreements • Terms: • 5 Year renewable, Nonexclusive • NO $$$ However , You Can Reimburse Volunteer Expenses • Responsibilities: • BLM: Prepares Volunteer papers, Provides equipment, supplies, work space, Opportunity for Planning input . . . . • Partner: Provides project reports, ensures participant safety, Recommends project needs . . . . . • Projects: • Monitoring, Exploration, Inventory, Mapping, Restoration, Conservation, Education, Research, Confidential Information • Participating Management Team

Assistance Agreements • A Service Agreement with Scope of Work & Assigned Duties • Task Orders/Projects are written for specific activities with available funding • Must show at least 50 % matching by Partner • Projects may include: Gate Installation, Bat Counts, Resources Location & Inventory, Mapping, Data Base Development, . . . .

  8. Volunteer Agreements • Individual Agreements - Good for long term volunteers or projects • Group Agreements - For large short term Grotto or Regional projects. Graffiti removal, Clean ups, Trail installation – IM 2013-173 = No Liability • Include job description and Risk Assessment
