Today’s Meeting Goals • For those who are new to International Day: • Learn about the day • Find out how/where you can help • For those who are returning: • Give us all the benefit of your past experience • Recruit new volunteers • For all: • Receive guidelines and suggestions for the planning of your booth • Get answers to your questions • Connect with your compatriots • For the International Day planning/coordinating committee: • Collect contact information from everyone • Get as many booths as possible signed up TODAY!

  3. International Day • Display of our diverse community • Country Booths • Performances • Family oriented fun filled day • Games/activities for the kids (LS, MS and US) • Parents get to enjoy some fun too! • Raffles & Entertainment * It is a found raising event for our PFA! *

A Country Booth A country booth is a place where one wants to show his/her home country features • Decoration • Food • Typical local game or sport • Typical arts and crafts • Language • Learning facts (currency, history, geography, important people…) • Larger scale activity (remote location) • Participation achievement

How can we help? • Want to have a booth but not enough volunteers for the planning and coordinating? • We’ll communicate your need via the international liaisons for more compatriots • We’ll communicate via all other channels made available to us (newsletters, schools liaisons…) • Not sure what to do? • Use our document What a Booth is • Let us know and we’ll put you in touch with someone who’s done it in the past • Not enough people to “run” the booth on June 1st? • Communicate your needs to us and we’ll be looking out for volunteers via signupgenius.com

  6. What is expected from you? • Please do not leave before making sure we have your name and contact info • If possible, sign up for your booth TODAY • Need more time? Please sign up your booth by March 8 via email pfaID@asparis.fr • Provide us with the details of your booth and needs no later than April 15 • Attend the next Country Booth Meeting: April 15, 10am !!! LET US KNOW IF YOU NEED HELP !!!
