  2. É normalmente usado em orações afirmativas e é usado também em perguntas quando se espera uma resposta afirmativa ou se oferece algo, prevendo uma resposta afirmativa. Ex: I have some books. ( Eu tenho alguns livro.) Can you give me some Monay? (Você poderia me dar algum dinheiro?) Would you like some coffee? (Você gostaria de um pouco de café?) (Some + Substantivo singular ou plural) Some

  3. Any É usado em frases negativas e interrogativas. (Qualquer, quaisquer). Ex: She doesn´t have any money to lend me. ( Ela não tem dinheiro para me emprestar.) Does he have any salad? ( Ele quer um pouco de salada?) (Any + substantivo singular ou plural)

  4. No É usado em negação sem o uso de ’’not”. Ex: There is no child here. (No + singular ou plural)

  5. Every O substantivo e o verbo com every vêm sempre no singular, mesmo quando o sentido é de plural, (todo(s) todas). Dá a idéia de totalidade. Ex: You come to school every day? (Vocês vêm a escola todos os dias?) Every hotel em town was full. (Todos os hotéis da cidade estavam cheios). (every + substantivo singular: todo(s) toda).

  6. Seus Derivados Some: são usados em frases que se deseja resposta afirmativa e em orações afirmativas. Para Ex: Would you like something to drink? (Gostaria de algo para beber?) Coisas= something (alguma, algo) Lugares= somewhere (algum lugar) Pessoas= somebody/someone (alguém)

  7. Seus Derivados Any: são usados em perguntas gerais e em orações negativas. Para Ex: Did anybody call while I was out? (Alguém ligou na minha ausência?) Coisas= anything(alguma coisa, algo) Lugares= anywhere(algum lugar) Pessoas= anybody/anyone(alguém)

  8. Seus Derivados No: frases negativas que não contenham ‘’not’’ ou “never’’

  9. Seus Derivados Every: São usados em afirmações e perguntas com sentido de totalidade. Para Ex: Everybody knows the value of education. (Todos sabem o valor da educação). Pessoas= everybody/everyane(todos/todas) Coisas= everything (tudo) Lugares= everywhere(toda parte)
