  2. About NoviiAnimator • NoviiAnimator is a software program dedicated to the developing children’s creative abilities. It is designed for PalmOne handhelds. • NoviiAnimator is one of the few programs that enables children to create animations and draw single pictures • Making their own animated cartoons is simple and very entertaining for children.

  3. Why NoviiAnimator? • Use NoviiAnimator for a number of assignments «We used the animation software for a number of assignments, and the students were given many opportunities to use NoviiAnimator in their projects. One of our favorite forms of assessment was to have the students create animations of the water cycle to demonstrate their knowledge of these scientific concepts. These animations were then converted to a .gif file and posted on our school’s website for parents and other members of our school community to see». We have integrated slide shows into reading and language arts, used it in spelling by typing text and then categorizing the text by moving the words around the screen».   5. Why NoviiAnimator? • Use NoviiAnimator in Social studies and during math «We draw and labeled parts of plants, moon phases, food chains and gravity in science. During Social studies, we have created time lines with each screen being a different time period, and shown the branches of government as well. During math, we write math problem solvers and share them with a table partner to solve. I teach at a laboratory school on the campus of Northwest Missouri State, so even my college students are excited about using Palms. My third graders teach their methods classes at least 2-3 times each semester on how to implement technology into their lesson plans. Why NoviiAnimator? • Use NoviiAnimator in Palm Pilots instead of the Notepad software «Additionally, the students enjoyed using NoviiAnimator in their Palm Pilots instead of the Notepad software that comes preinstalled on the handheld because NoviiAnimator acted as a high-powered sketchpad.
