Objectives • Define Leadership in accordance with FM 6-22, Army Leadership • Describe the Army Leadership Requirements Model • List the 3 Attributes of an Army Leader • Define the 3 Core Leader Competencies • Describe the LDP process of evaluating behavior • Explain the importance of the LDP as it relates to the accession process • Recognize the leader attributes and core leader competencies while observing behavior • Complete a Cadet Self Assessment Report (yellow card)

  3. Leadership – What is it? • Leadership is influencing people – by providing purpose, direction, and motivation - while operating to accomplish the mission and improving the organization. (FM 6-22, Chapter 1)
