  2. The sun • The sun is one billions of stars in the galaxy.it is also Earths closest star. The sun rotates every 27 days. The sun formed over four and a half billion years ago. The sun that lit the Earth in the prehistoric times lights the earth today. Without the sun, Earth would not support life. The sun is 109 times bigger than the earth and 333,000 times heavier. The sun has 92% of hydrogen gas and has 7% of helium.

  3. The moon • The Moon takes 27 days( 27 days, 7 hours, 43 minutes, 11.6 seconds) to go all around the Earth . The Moon travels around the Earth in a ring called orbit. Did you know the Moon rises in the East and sets in the West? The Moon is 4.5 billion years old. The Moon has no atmosphere. Water was discovered on the Moon in 2009!
