And . . . ? • Work on other “stuff.” • Read The Color Purple. • Study for your exam. • Read/Review/Discuss yesterday’s multiple choice answers. • Read/Review/Discuss Oedipus the King and the concept of a tragic hero. Feel free to use these thoughtfully! • Your essay will require an organized response to this quotation: "Tragic heroes are so much the highest points in their human landscape that they seem the inevitable conductors of the power about them, great trees more likely to be struck by lightning than a clump of grass.
