WHO CAREGIVER PROGRAMS The WHO Caregivers Skills Training Program, developed by the World Health Organization (WHO) in partnership with Autism Speaks, aims to provide crucial support for children with developmental disabilities. With over 50 million affected children under 5 years old, including those with autism, intellectual disabilities, hearing impairment, or speech disorders, access to quality care is often limited. This program includes 9 group sessions and 3 one-on-one sessions, empowering caregivers with essential skills for proper care. Its goal is to enhance access to care, reduce violence, and ensure these children have equal opportunities for education and well-being.
