Activity 1: Vision (15 mins) • DRAFT Vision: Provoking inspiration and innovation within all Indiana students through daily robust, inquiry-based, real-world and workforce responsive STEM education will energize, engage and connect Hoosiers while positively impacting communities. • To Consider • Where we want to be 6 years from now and team writes down ideal statements. • What should the ideal environment for Indiana classrooms look like and how will this shape Indiana? • Team describes the attributes or statements to describe this environment for Indiana. • Activity • Team reacts to current vision statement: drafts new language or agrees with current vision. Assignment for Share Out: Agree with or draft suggestions to rework Vision statement

Activity 2: Mission (15 mins) • DRAFT Mission: To provide high quality STEM education to every Indiana student, every day. • To Consider • Who are we developing this plan for? • What do we want to do? • Why must we do this now? • How are we going to do it? • Activity • Team reacts to current mission statement: drafts new language or agrees with current mission. Assignment for Share Out: Agree with or draft suggestions to rework Mission statement

  9. Activity 3: Goals (30 mins) • Activity • Team works through goals and baseline data to draft quantitative goals. Assignment for Share Out: Feedback on goals and metrics.
