  12. Long-Term Funding Opportunities Build Upon Short Term 1 Expand upon business development, events, and outreach plans. Explore additional grant and donation opportunities. Transport Assessment 2 Add small additional entrance fee (1-5¢) for truck traffic into Food Distribution Center and waste disposal facilities. Wholesale-To-Retail 3 Area food wholesalers may have interest in opening windows and storefronts for retail business.

Long-Term Funding Opportunities Business Improvement District 4 As local retail opportunities develop, property and business owners contribute to the maintenance and development of the Greenway space. Capital Improvements 5 Provide added funding opportunities through rents, leases, and services. Can be funded by Community Benefit Agreements. Tax Increment Financing 6 Increased property values will generate increased tax revenue that can be used to finance capital improvements in Hunts Point and Port Morris.
