  2. Recommendations • VGA cable - $30 • Light version of apps – usually free to try before full commitment required! • Play, have fun, try new things! • Use in conjunction with a computer • (unless you get the keyboard) • Stylus - $10-$20

  4. Explain Everything • My favorite for tutorials • $2.99 • Records audio and pen stroke • Can be exported at PDF or movie • Insert files from drop box • Export videos to YouTube, dropbox, WebDAV, etc.

  5. ShowMe • Record voice-over whiteboard tutorials and share them online. • Free! • Uploads to the showme server • You can give students the link • You can’t edit the saved tutorials. • I use this when I just need a quick whiteboard, but I like explain everything much better.

Notability • Note taking app • $1.99 • Take notes on a variety of paper including graph paper!!! • Variety of pen sizes/colors, highlighter, eraser, zoom tool and palm rest to prevent stray marks • record audio, insert photos, figures, web clips • Export to email, dropbox, google drive, WebDAV, etc. You can choose pdf or rtf, to include the paper and audio or not.

Hit the record button and the puppets automatically lip-synch to your voice. • Great for students to share content knowledge!
