  3. What is Concord’s ClientLine™? ClientLine™ is Concord’s new On-line suite of products that offers Concord merchants, Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs) and other interfacing organizations a wealth of user interfacing tools specifically designed to perform a variety of reporting, activation, deployment, and processing functions. Simply stated, ClientLine™ affords Clients with an On-line Window into Concord EFS, Inc.

  4. What is Concord’s ClientLine™? (continued) ClientLine™ is a robust set of product applications geared specifically towards the needs of your organization. Whether you are a Large Retail Merchant in need of reporting and operational management tools across your entire chain, a small retailer simply needing reporting options on credit card and other transaction types, or an Independent Sales Organization (ISO) requiring a mechanism to enroll merchants on the Concord system for transaction processing; ClientLine™ has applications suited to satisfying your specific needs.

ClientLine™ Access Architecture Access to ClientLine can be obtained via several ways, depending upon your organization’s particular needs and technological capabilities. • Direct Connect (Frame Relay) Direct Connect, via a frame relay connection to Concord; allows your organization to utilize your own “private” network between our company and yours. Frame Relay connectivity can be used for a variety of connection solutions, not solely for access to ClientLine. • Virtual Private Network The VPN creates a “tunnel" through the Internet in a manner that provides the same security and other features formerly only available on private networks. This connection forms what appears to be a private network. • Direct Dial (MCI™ Dial Access) Allows for a direct dial in to Concord, for those users without “Internet” access; who wish to utilize the benefits of ClientLine™.

The ClientLine™ Product Suite • The ClientLine™ Product Suite has been divided into three distinct operational product suites, each combining a group of applications serving a specific business function. The following briefly lists the ClientLine product suites and related applications: • Settlement Based Reporting Product Suite • Rate Analysis & Downgraded Transactions • Chargebacks & Retrievals • Reporting • Statements • Operational Management Product Suite • Debit Adjustments • Real-Time Transaction Reporting • Customer Service • Risk Management • Merchant Boarding Product Suite • Merchant Enrollment • Terminal Deployment

The ClientLine™ Settlement Based Reporting Product Suite The ClientLine™ Settlement Based Reporting Product Suite has been specifically designed to offer you and your organization a wealth of transaction settlement reporting options. The goal of the Settlement Based Reporting Suite is to allow you to be able to view transaction information, perform research, and generate queries upon an almost limitless amount of settlement information. The ClientLine™ Settlement Based Reporting Product Suite has been developed primarily to satisfy merchant level reporting needs. However; other types of entities such as Independent Sales Organizations(ISOs), Principal Banks, and other Third Party Providers may choose to utilize these robust reporting options across their merchant base. The following slides provides a detailed discussion on the four (4) distinct applications which comprise the Settlement Based Reporting Suite.

ClientLine™ Rate Analysis & Downgraded Transaction Reporting • ClientLine™ Rate Analysis & Downgraded Transaction Reporting offers you: • The unique ability to research “rate qualification failures” on a per transaction basis; • The opportunity to recognize and isolate failure reasons and make the necessary internal programmatic processing changes; and • Effective Discount Rate analysis on a per settlement day basis allowing you to track the integrity of your credit card settlement.

  9. ClientLine™ Rate Analysis & Downgraded Transactions (continued) ClientLine™ Rate Analysis and Downgraded Transactions – Rate Analysis Query. Allows you to see the rate(s) in which particular transactions were settled.

  10. ClientLine™ Rate Analysis & Downgraded Transactions (continued) ClientLine™ Rate Analysis and Downgraded Transactions – Downgraded Transaction Query. Allows you to see the transactions that were unable to be settled at the “best possible” Interchange Reimbursement rate and the reason for the “downgrade”.

  11. ClientLine™ Rate Analysis & Downgraded Transactions (continued) ClientLine™ Rate Analysis and Downgraded Transactions – Downgraded Transaction Detail. Allows you to see the actual “transaction level detail” for a Downgraded transaction. From this display, you have the opportunity to recognize the particular factor which resulted in the downgrade.

ClientLine™ Chargebacks & Retrievals • ClientLine™ Chargebacks & Retrievals offers you: • Viewing on “Open Retrieval Requests” from Visa and MasterCard; • A “Retrieval Response Countdown” indicating the time left to respond to Concord EFS, Inc. with a receipt fulfillment; • The submission of Retrieval fulfillments via e- mail, using a scanned image of the original receipt in a .tif file format; and • Reporting detail on Chargebacks, which aides in the identification of risk factors, as they relate to your organization.

  13. ClientLine™ Chargebacks & Retrievals (continued) ClientLine™ Chargebacks & Retrievals Dashboard. The Dashboard provides you with summary information for settled transactions as well as shows you a “Retrieval Countdown” indicating the time left to respond to Card Association Retrieval Requests. This countdown aides in the management of Chargebacks by attempting to ensure that your organization knows that a response is necessary within a timeframe.

  14. ClientLine™ Chargebacks & Retrievals (continued) ClientLine™ Chargebacks & Retrievals Query Options. Allows you to perform queries on a variety of Chargeback / Retrieval criteria.

  15. ClientLine™ Chargebacks & Retrievals (continued) ClientLine™ Chargebacks & Retrievals Query Result Display. Below represents a typical display of a Chargeback & Retrieval query. From this, you can drill down to review “transaction level” information.

  16. ClientLine™ Chargebacks & Retrievals (continued) ClientLine™ Chargebacks & Retrievals Electronic Retrieval Fulfillment Interface. You will be able to respond to a “Retrieval Request” by attaching a .tif image of the receipt to an integrated e-mail, destined for delivery to the Concord Chargebacks Department.

ClientLine™ Reporting • ClientLine™ Reporting offers merchants: • Research Query and Report generation functionality on Credit, Debit, EBT, Check, Fuel Card and Gift Card transactions; • Daily Settlement (Bank Deposit) and Adjustment detail; • Report Scheduling capability allowing for the reoccurring generation and delivery of specific reports using a timeframe that you define; • Report format options (.pdf, .doc, and .xls) allows you a choice in how you receive the reports; and • Report integration into a variety of accounting / reconciliation programs like MS Access™ and PeopleSoft™

  18. ClientLine™ Reporting (continued) ClientLine™ Reporting - Dashboard Provides you with a general overview of settlement activity for the current settlement day, as well as provides historical information for recent days.

  19. ClientLine™ Reporting (continued) ClientLine™ Reporting – Credit Transaction Query Results. Below is an example of a “Credit Transaction Query”. You will be able to see all credit card transactions for the given span of your query.

You will be able to see important information on each and every transaction using the “Drill Down” functionality within the application.

You will be able to see important information on each and every transaction using the “Drill Down” functionality within the application.

  22. ClientLine™ Reporting (continued) ClientLine™ Reporting – Account Summary using the Association ID. The Account Summary option allows you to see a summary (transaction count / sales amount) for all transaction types that your organization supports.

  23. ClientLine™ Merchant Statements • ClientLine™ Statements offers you: • The ability to electronically generate “monthly merchant statements” on demand; • Either Fax or e-mail delivery to multiple recipients; and • The ability to get Statements that match your own fiscal accounting periods.

The ClientLine™ Operational Management Product Suite The ClientLine™ Operational Management Product Suite offers you and your organization the tools necessary to manage your business from a variety of perspectives. Specifically, the Operational Management Product Suite applications allow you to research real-time transaction information, review and submit debit network adjustments, perform essential customer service functions, and provides an integrated tool aimed at giving you the power to management risk at the merchant level. The Operational Management Product Suite is applicable to all types of organizations. Many retailers now accept Debit and EBT Cards as a form of payment, and thus will be interested in the ClientLine™ Debit & EBT Adjustment application as well as the ability to research transactions using the ClientLine Real-Time Transaction Reporting application. Principal Banks and Independent Sales Organizations will find the Customer Service and Risk Management applications very useful for their business needs.

ClientLine™ Debit & EBT Adjustments • ClientLine™ Debit Adjustments offers merchants: • An on-line interface allowing for merchant initiated debit adjustments to be submitted to Concord for further processing; • Detailed reporting capabilities on merchant submitted debit adjustments; and • Real-Time debit transaction reporting.

  27. ClientLine™ Debit & EBT Adjustments(continued) ClientLine™ Debit & EBT Adjustments – Adjustment Profile Screen. The “Open Merchant Adjustment(s)” function allows you to view and “drill-down” on “Open Adjustments” for your organization.

The “Adjustment Entry Form” allows you to submit a Debit Adjustment to Concord for further processing. Simply fill out the below form, and submit to Concord. We will handle the submission from that point.

  29. ClientLine™ Debit & EBT Adjustments(continued) ClientLine™ Debit & EBT Adjustments – Merchant Adjustment Register. The Merchant Adjustment Register shows historical information on the status/activity of your submitted debit adjustments.

  30. ClientLine™ Real-Time Transaction Reporting • ClientLine™ Real-Time Transaction Reporting: • The ability to see “real-time” transaction processing data for all card types; and • Allows almost instantaneous updates on transactions processed at the point-of- sale.

ClientLine™ Customer Service • ClientLine™ Customer Service offers merchants a robust on-line tool that allows you the ability to research and perform customer service functions including: • Merchant profiles / Terminal information; • Historical transaction information; • Store level contact information; • Transaction Level Detail Analysis / Reporting; and • Customer Call Logging

  32. ClientLine™ Customer Service (continued) ClientLine™ Customer Service – Merchant Information Screen. The Merchant Information Screen allows you to see specific information on a particular merchant location.

  35. ClientLine™ Risk Management • ClientLine™ Risk Management offers you the ability to perform “internal” risk management functions including: • Merchant specific settlement research capabilities based on defined exception criteria; and • Integrated Funding Hold / Release capabilities

  36. ClientLine™ Risk Management (continued) ClientLine™ Risk Management – Merchant Exception Report. Allows you to view merchants whose transactions exceeded a “self-defined” risk parameter.

  37. ClientLine™ Risk Management (continued) ClientLine™ Risk Management – Location Exception Report Detail. Allows you to “drill-down” on a particular merchant to view individual transaction data, resulting in the “risk parameter exception”.

The ClientLine™ Merchant Boarding Product Suite The ClientLine™ Merchant Boarding Product Suite was designed to offer you all the tools necessary to add new merchants / locations to the Concord EFS, Inc. and deploy the necessary point-of-sale equipment to these newly added locations in the most timely manner possible. Specifically, this product suite contains an integrated enrollment application process that allows you to set up new merchants / locations on the Concord system. In addition to the enrollment piece, integration with Concord Deployment allows for the fast, accurate, and assured delivery of terminals / peripherals to the newly enrolled merchant location. Primarily, either multi-location Large Retailers or Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs) will find the Merchant Boarding Product Suite most beneficial. However, any Concord entity wishing to utilize the functionality contained within these applications may certainly do so.

ClientLine™ Merchant Enrollment • ClientLine™ Merchant Enrollment offers merchants: • The ability to add merchants/locations to the Concord EFS, Inc. system via the Internet; and • A web-enabled interface into Concord Deployment for the deployment of terminals and devices to newly enrolled Concord merchants. • ClientLine™ Merchant Enrollment offers the following advantages over other enrollment processes: • No more hand written paper contract forms; • Faster contract turn-around, thus faster merchant enrollment / activation; • Simplified contract process; • Financial Accounting and Tracking; • Real-Time confirmation; and • Integrated terminal / device deployment functionality with the Concord Deployment System for “one-stop” enrollment through to transaction swipe.

  40. ClientLine™ Merchant Enrollment(Continued) ClientLine™ Merchant Enrollment – General Information Screen. Allows for the entry of general information for new merchant locations.

ClientLine™ Terminal Deployment ClientLine™ Terminal Deployment offers: A tool allowing for the deployment of terminals to a 3rd Party (merchants not otherwise associated with Concord EFS, Inc. from a processing perspective). This is separate from the “integrated deployment capability” within the Enrollment application.

In addition, this allows for the importation of report data into a variety of other software applications such as MS Access™ or PeopleSoft™.
