  2. Paris Trip 1 Please ensure your hand in: Code of conduct to Mrs Easterbrook Raffle tickets to Miss Fairley by this Friday please.

  3. S4 Home Economics Trip to Royal Highland ShowThursday 19 June Please hand in consent forms and money to Miss Fairley in room 204 if you would like to go on this trip. Places are limited first come, first served!

  4. S5/S6 Blazers Border Embroideries will be in Assembly Hall at break time on 19 June. If you are ordering a blazer, but are unsure of which size to order, you can collect an order form from the student reception and bring it along with you on 19 June with your payment and try on blazers. Alternatively order online immediately after confirming sizing on 19 June. See Lasswade website for link.

  5. Writing Competition for S1 – S4 Tyne & Esk ‘Young Writer of the Year’ 2014 Entries to Kat in the library THIS FRIDAY! • Write about anything you want! • Poetry (max. 40 lines) • Prose (max 1500 words)

  6. Suspended Timetable Manchester / Blackpool Trip Forms for this trip need to be handed in to Miss Macgregor (room 106) by Friday 13 June

  7. Can all students who studied Higher Human Biology last session please return text books and any other course material to Dr Kerr or Mrs Medlock as soon as possible. Thank you!

  8. S5 GHANA – Miss McDonald’s Group There is a meeting at 1:30 pm today in room 308.

  9. Ladies Night Ladies Night will be on Thursday 12 June. 6-9pm in the school atrium. Tickets cost £3 and are available to buy from Miss Ryder in 012. Each ticket will be entered into the raffle to win a ladies hamper.

  11. All students who signed up to visit Edinburgh Zoo must return completed forms and any payments to Mrs Medlock (room 104) by Friday 13 June.

  12. Summer Bowling “Are you interested in starting the game of bowls?  Summer bowling will continue on Friday afternoons.   Have your lunch after school and then meet in the Costa Cafe at 1.00 pm.  ALL WELCOME!!!  See you there!”

  13. Lunch Time Sports All lunch time clubs are cancelled today due to primary visits.

  14. School trip to see ‘The Fault in Our Stars’ Possible date and time:The afternoon on Friday 20 June Price: £10 Names of interested pupils must be given to Kat in the library by Monday 16 June so transport can be booked.

  15. FORTH BRIDGES TRIP "All pupils who have signed up for the suspended timetable Forth Bridges trip, please attend a meeting in room 310 at 1.30 pm today"

  16. 2014 Bronze Group S4 Duke of Edinburgh Group S5 (old S4) pupils on last weekend’s expedition please have a check at home for unreturned kit, there are some individual items from some participants still outstanding – these are needed by your colleagues this weekend so you must bring them in tomorrow.

  17. BIKE TO SCHOOL DAYTHURSDAY 19TH JUNE • NEW S2 PUPILS ONLY • IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO SIGN UP FOR BIKE TO SCHOOL DAY THEN COME AND SEE MR DEWAR IN THE PE DEPT TO SIGN UP BEFORE FRIDAY • YOU WILL BE ALLOWED OUT OF CLASS PERIODS 1 AND 2 • BREAKFAST WILL BE PROVIDED

  18. Can all S5/6 pupils who are going to the SQA filming in Glasgow on Saturday 14 June, please come to a short meeting in Room 306 at 1.30 pm today.

  19. Race for Life 2014 FINAL MEETING Everyone taking part in the race this Sunday must attend a short meeting at morning break on Friday in room 208. See Miss Lyon if you are unable to attend. Reminder of our JustGiving page - www.justgiving.com/LasswadeLassies2014

  20. 2014 Bronze Group S4 Duke of Edinburgh Group All S5 (old S4) bronze pupils are required to attend a run-through of their presentations at lunchtime on Wednesday 18thin room in preparation for the presentation evening on the 19th. All participants should contribute to the presentations and attend that meeting, even if you can’t attend on 19th.

  21. Queen’s Baton Relay The Commonwealth Games are quickly approaching and the Queen's Baton will be coming to Lasswade High School on Monday. Pupils involved in the Queen's Baton Relay must attend a meeting in the Assembly Hall on Friday morning during registration where you will receive more information about this - Register teachers have a list of those who must attend.
