Polüpropeen (polüpropüleen) PP • PP on kõrgkristalliinse (60-80%) struktuuriga laiatarbeplast. • PP on tugevam ja kõvem (1,3-1,8 GPa) kui HDPE, tihedus ( 0,90-0,91) sarnane LDPE-ga • Hea keemiline vastupidavus ja kõrge väsimustegur. • Eripäraks väga hea korduvpainutustegur, kuid madalatel temperatuuridel muutub hapraks (0 kraadi) • Väga tundlik UV-le • Vormitav sulaolekus ( 190-285 kraadi), tema mehaanilised ja termilised omadused on paremad kui polüeteenil. Kahanemine jahtumisel 2,5%.
