  2. High Level Goals • What do you want to accomplish for your school, region or country? Look at long-term (3-5 years) and short-term goals (1-2 years) • Long term goals • Implement science inquiry based innovations in secondary schools • Institutionalize management of science fairs and In-service training programs for teachers in secondary schools • Increase the involvement and participation of stakeholders in science fairs by 20% within 5 years • Short term goals • Strengthen the partnership and networks between Ministry of Education and other stakeholders . • Provide professional development for teachers in secondary schools using existing structures ( Secondary Science and Mathematics Teachers’ [SESEMAT]) Program • Strengthen the planning of the existing science fair • Improve scientific review and judging

Objectives • How will you know you succeeded? • Please list the results you want to see • Increased number of partnerships and networks between Ministry of Education and other stakeholders by 10%. • 2500 teachers trained in integrating of Technology in the teaching and learning of science & Mathematics. • Increased budget for the science fair by 100% • 5 stakeholders’ sensitization workshops on science fairs to be held. • Reviewed terms of reference and guidelines for science fairs • improved annual science fairs • Increased number of secondary schools and students participating in science fairs. • Number of science fair exhibitions increased by 20%. • Widened scope of both external and internal adjudicators
