  1. Three China Today we are telling you about the three Chinese philosophies

  2. Confucianism • Confucianism is based on the teachings of kongfuzi, • Who is called confucius by westerners. This philosophy deeply influenced chinese government and culture. Confucius lived from 551 to 479 B. C. E.. He was born in the small state of Lu in eastern china. • The goal of Confucianism was just a peaceful society. Confucius taught that society worked well when all t people acted properly based upon their roles and their relationship with others.

  3. Confucianism • Some of the schools in china back then starting teaching Confucianism. Confucianism is practicing what you preach.

  4. Confucianism • Confucianism says knowledge is what you know and teach. Also its knowledge if you know it or not. • That is knowledge

  5. Taoism • The great sage or wise man of danism was lazi he was said to be another of Tao de jing.

  6. Daoism • The second great Philosophy to come out of china times of truble was Taoism. Kike confucianism

  8. Taoism • Taoism is all on its own. If you do something wrong and no one tells. You will get in trouble just by not telling. The consequences come on their own. Since Taoism is on its own, you’ll get caught on your own. Taoism teaches you to be truthful and kinder. Also it teaches you to just do what you are supposed to.

  9. Legalism • Legalism is just like having a older brother. The people show how people are supposed to act. Its like a model. They try to making people be like them, so they sort of copy them. Legalism teaches people to act like other people, then the other people will want to do the same making it a cycle of learning then teaching. Legalism teaches people to be unselfish. They pursue themselves. They really should pursue others.

  10. Legalism • Legalism shows how to act. Hanfeizi was the founder of Legalism. Hanfeizi live from 280 to 233 B.C.E.. Hanfeizi was in a royal family. He was a prince too.

  11. Legalism • Hanfeizi said “who trusts shall be controlled” • Legalism is a pretty strict Philosophy.
