  3. CONCEPT PROPOSAL SUMMARY REVIEW • Concept Proposal Phase • Due date: December 15, 2005 • 129 proposals for $40M • IWAT reviewed proposals • 60 proposals, $18M advance

  4. Full Proposal Selection Process • Project Level Review • Review criteria sheets • Final proposal ranking • Group review meeting • Calfed Program Priorities • Final Recommendations • Management Approval

Proposal Review & RankingProcess • Proposal review process: • Reviewed by 3 or more panelists • Rejected those with 2 or more panelists recommending not to advance • Ordered projects 1st by integrating then by project criteria and overall rating • Reordering final project pool at panel meeting • Program review to finalize recommendation

Program Level Priorities The pool of proposals was then be evaluated to meet Program Level Priorities. • CALFED Bay-Delta Program • Source Waters • Land Management • Innovation • Education • Environmental Justice • Disadvantaged Communities Adjustments were made to the initial pool of recommended projects to ensure balance for all priorities.
