Mathkangaroo • National competition, Run by local volunteers • Test at grade level (Gr 1-12) • Target more on concepts • 75min, 24-30 questions • Once/year on 3rd Thursday in March • This year test date is 3/15/2018 , Thursday • Registration may start on 10/1/17. Berkeley Math Tournament Berkeley Mini Math Tournament • Middle School + Advanced 5th graders • 5 students per team (only one CACC can form own teams) • Date: mid Nov, 2017, usually on Sunday (8:30-1:30) • Location: UC Berkeley Campus • CACC Online Registration will start when it is open (tournament cost $10) • Registration Deadline: usually mid Oct, 2017 Berkeley Math Tournament • High School + Advanced 7th & 8th graders • Date: 3/12/2017 ($15)

Math Olympiad (MO) • 2 Divisions – in class contest only http://www.moems.org/ -- Elementary (MOEMS, E division) – grades 4-6 -- Middle (MOEMS, M division) – grades 6-8 • 5 monthly contests, 5 questions at each contest, specific time limit for each question • CACC math program offers such contest in class only
