  5. WALK, BIKE, OR TAKE PUBLIC TRANSPORT Walking or riding a bicycle will not only improve your health and fitness levels but also enhance the quality of air you breathe. Taking a mass transport like bus or train or a car pool for long distance travel will also help. SAVE ENERGY AT HOME Optimizing energy consumption and gain by lowering of heating/cooling levels, switching to LED light bulbs and energy-efficient electric appliances, using cold water in washing machines and choosing wind drying over using a dryer.
