  2. DAY 1: ARRIVE IN BOISE, ID From your downtown hotel, explore the city’s Greenbelt trails, Idaho State Museum or Basque Block. Or just enjoy a locally crafted beer or wine while strolling the streets of the Capital city. This evening meet your Tour Director and fellow travelers at a welcome reception. Meals included: Reception

  3. DAY 2: BOISE TO WALLA WALLA, WA This morning, begin your explorations along the Snake River and over the Blue Mountains. Following the path of early American pioneers, we will stop at the National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center in Baker City, OR. From here, we descend the mountains to Pendleton OR, home of the world-famous Round-Up (Let “Er Buck!) and Woolen Mill. After leaving this great Western town our trail enters wine country. Walla Walla, WA will charm you with its historic downtown filled with tasting rooms, cafe, and shops. Meals included: Breakfast

  4. DAY 3: WALLA WALLA, WA In the morning explore the creative side of town with a walking tour set among the campus and city walkways filled with public art. Before lunch, learn the intricacies of the winemaking process, and maybe a taste or two, with a production tour of a local winery. After, the rest of the day is yours to do what you please. You can choose from an optional excursion or may decide to spend your day exploring, shopping, or visiting the numerous tasting rooms and art galleries in town. Whatever you do, you will want to be back in time for a special dinner. Meals included: Breakfast, Dinner

  5. DAY 4: WALLA WALLA TO PORTLAND, OR This morning we will meander country roads and farmlands while heading to Portland Oregon. From there, we will make our way back to Portland along the scenic Columbia River Gorge. We’ll stop for lunch overlooking the great River of the West and soak of the misty views of Multnomah Falls. Upon checking in to our downtown hotel, Portland Or is at your step. Dinner is on your own and in Portland that means anything from food trucks to fine dining. Meals Included: Breakfast, Lunch

  6. DAY 5: PORTLAND, OR After breakfast, join us for a walking tour of Portland, the City of Roses. The rest of the day is yours to do what you please. You can choose from an optional tour to Oregon Wine Country, or you may decide to spend your day at Powell’s Book Store, exploring various neighborhoods while riding the MAX train, visiting the numerous museums or breweries in town, tax-free sales shopping, or a combination of all! However you spend your day, we hope you will find time to join us for a reception in the early evening. Meals Included: Breakfast, Reception

  7. DAY 6: PORTLAND, OR As this is your final morning in Portland, you may want a swim in the pool, a walk along the Willamette River or just prepare for your return home. SEATTLE CRUISE CONNECTION: If you are sailing to Alaska from Seattle today, you take the scenic rail journey to Seattle’s King Street Station. This early morning train ride travels in the shadows of Volcanoes taking in the scenery of Western Washington before meeting up with the Puget Sound. You should arrive in Seattle before noon with plenty of time to board your ship. Alternate transportation such as BOLT bus is also an option. Contact us for more details.
