  3. Agenda 12/4 • Learning Target: I will model/prototype the playground my partner and I designed. • Playground design: • Model and prototype your playground • Add Modifications notebook. • If finished: • Model playground design using AutoDesk. • Discuss Wednesday through Friday

  4. Agenda 12/5 • Learning Target: Summarize ways that robots are used in today’s world and the impact of their use on society. • Understanding Robots: • Watch “Understanding Robots” and fill in summary sheet while watching the video. • Go over summary sheet as a class • Turn in summary sheet

Agenda 12/6 • Learning Target: Summarize ways that robots are used in today’s world and the impact of their use on society. • Group Research on One Type of Robot • Your table group will decide on a robot type to research from the list available. (only 1 group per type) • By the end of the period: • Most research is complete and PowerPoint presentation is being put together • Save presentation to: VRMS Tech\DAVIS STEM\Period\Robot Presentations

Table Group Jobs • Manager– Makes sure everyone knows what they need to do and understands the concepts, talks to the teacher when problems arise • Recorder – Records information and citations, keeps information organized, responsible for answering conclusion questions • Planner – Keeps time, makes sure people are doing their assigned jobs, makes sure questions are being answered, makes sure everything will be done on time • Technologist & Archivists (2) – Finds photos, organizes presentation • Researchers – EVERYONE in group

Agenda 12/7 • Learning Target: Summarize ways that robots are used in today’s world and the impact of their use on society. • Group Research on One Type of Robot • Your table group will continue to research the robot type you chose on Thursday. • By the end of the period: • All research is done and presentation is complete • Save all your work! (If presentation has already been saved once, just click SAVE, not Save As!!!)
