Active citizenship - social inclusion • What is active citizenship? • Civic duties, voting, helping out, dedicating time, inform yourself, donating blood... • Voluntary service is a structured expression of these civic duties - specific project, duration, place, focus • By actively contributing you do become an active citizen • What better way of integrating and empowering young people at risk, immigrants, minorities
