  3. To, Too, Two! • To- this is TO you! • Too- There are too many o’s in this sentence. • Two- Let’s get two so we can both have one.

  4. Their, There, They’re • Their- refers to people. Their heir to the throne is Charles. • There- refers to a place. Why sit there when we can sit here? • They’re- a contraction for they are. They are going to the movie… they’re going to the movie.

  5. Its vs. It’s • Its- refers to a thing. Its mother is protective! • It’s- is a contraction for it is- It’s going to attack, run!

  6. Who’s vs. whose • Who’s- a contraction for who is- Who is going to buy me a gift? Who’s going to buy me a gift? • Whose- refers to someone’s items Whose jacket is this?

  7. He’ll vs. heal vs. heel! • He’ll- is a contraction for he will. He’ll buy me a gift. He will buy me a gift! • Heal- when you are sick you have to heal! • Heel is a body part. It is part of your foot. You have TWO heels so you need TWO ees

  8. Principal Vs. Principle • Principal- is a person. The principal is your pal. • Principle is a law of standard belief. It is the principle of the matter that you should respect your elders.

  9. Scent vs. cent vs. sent • Scent is a smell! The scent of the flower is wonderful. • Cent is money! I have one cent in my pocket! • Sent is the past tense for send. Did you send it? Yes I sent it.
